As long as there have been people, there have also been knives. The first ones were ground from stone, later from metal. They are used everywhere - in agriculture, in forestry, in the kitchen. Early on, youth gangs in the suburbs of the metropolises fought their petty wars with knives. But it was not until the 20th century that the knife emerged as a political weapon of lone wolves.
